About the Role

We’re looking for an HR Associate – Talent Acquisition who wants hands-on experience in building teams at a growing company.
Your primary responsibility will be hiring and building talent pipelines, especially for interns and entry-level roles across different functions at AMINU. You’ll work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand requirements, identify the right candidates, run the recruitment process and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

Alongside recruitment, you’ll also get exposure to HR operations, onboarding and employee processes.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Hiring

  • Own end-to-end hiring for interns and entry-level roles across different functions.
  • Understand hiring requirements and work closely with hiring managers to define the right candidate profile.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, colleges, referrals, social media and other channels.
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial HR screening calls.
  • Evaluate candidates based on communication, experience, skills, motivation, cultural fit and role requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews, assignments and multiple stages of the selection process.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Coordinate offers, negotiations, joining formalities and pre-boarding.
  • Track hiring data and maintain recruitment dashboards/trackers.
  • Monitor the recruitment funnel and identify where candidates are dropping off.
  • Explore new sourcing channels and experiment with ways to improve the quality and speed of hiring.
  • Build relationships with colleges, student communities and external recruitment networks.

HR Operations

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and employee coordination.
  • Assist with onboarding and joining formalities.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation and trackers.
  • Coordinate with employees and managers on attendance, leave and other HR processes.
  • Support HRMS-related activities and ensure employee information is updated accurately.
  • Assist with internal HR communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors on recruitment and compliance-related requirements.

HR Projects

  • Support the HR team on ongoing people and hiring projects.
  • Help improve and streamline existing recruitment and HR processes.
  • Work on projects related to employer branding, candidate experience, talent pipelines and hiring analytics.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment or HR.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Someone who enjoys speaking to people and understanding what makes a candidate right for a role.
  • Comfortable making calls, following up and managing multiple candidates at once.
  • Strong ownership and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and resourceful — you should be comfortable figuring out where and how to find the right candidates.
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and HR/recruitment tools.
  • Interest in Talent Acquisition and building a career in recruitment.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships or hands-on recruitment experience are welcome to apply.

What You'll Learn

This role will give you exposure to the complete recruitment lifecycle — from understanding a hiring requirement and sourcing candidates to interviewing, selecting, negotiating and onboarding them.

You’ll also learn how hiring decisions are made, how to build talent pipelines, how different sourcing channels perform, and how HR works with managers to build teams in a growing company.

If you’re someone who is curious, people-oriented, organised and likes getting things done, this is a role where you’ll learn Talent Acquisition by actually doing it.
